Trump’s Hypocrisy on Indigenous Rights: Strong-Arming Africa and the Arab World While Defending White South Africans

The Same Old Playbook

Donald Trump’s recent rhetoric is nothing new. Throughout history, powerful nations have used coercion, manipulation, and brute force to displace indigenous populations for their own economic and geopolitical benefit. The former U.S. president’s latest push to force African and Arab nations to absorb displaced Palestinians while simultaneously advocating for white South Africans exposes a blatant hypocrisy that cannot be ignored.

Trump, along with the Western establishment, continues the same colonial playbook used for over a century—uprooting indigenous people, redrawing borders, and expecting the world to comply. But Africa and the Arab world are no longer pawns in this game.

The time has come to call out this double standard, expose the geopolitical motivations behind these policies, and demand that Africa and the Arab world refuse to participate in yet another Western-engineered crisis.

Trump’s Contradiction: White South Africans vs. Palestinians

Trump and his allies love to present themselves as champions of “oppressed” white South African farmers, arguing that they are being unfairly targeted and displaced by the Black majority government. The former president even directed his administration to investigate South Africa’s land reform policies, claiming they were an attack on human rights.

But where is that same energy when it comes to Palestinians?

The very same Trump administration that claimed to care about property rights in South Africa actively supported Israel’s illegal settlements, sanctioned Palestinian land grabs, and moved the U.S. embassy to Jerusalem to legitimize Israeli expansion.

Now, he’s advocating for the forced removal of Palestinians from their ancestral land while pressuring African and Arab nations to accept them. The hypocrisy is staggering.

If Trump truly believed in defending people from displacement, why does he pick and choose? Why does he support white South Africans keeping their land but have no problem backing policies that expel Palestinians from theirs? The answer is simple: this is not about justice—it’s about power.

Strong-Arming African and Arab Nations

Trump’s strategy for Gaza’s future is to bully Egypt, Jordan, and African nations into absorbing Palestinian refugees, removing any obstacles for Israel to expand unchecked.

This is a modern-day colonial tactic: when Western-backed powers create a problem, they expect the Global South to clean it up.

  • Egypt & Jordan: Both nations have made it clear that they will not accept the mass displacement of Palestinians. Jordan, which already has a large Palestinian refugee population, knows that another wave of refugees would permanently alter its demographic balance. Egypt, which has long been wary of Western and Israeli manipulation, is also refusing to play along.

  • African Nations: Trump and his allies have floated the idea of relocating Palestinians to African nations—an insulting and absurd proposition. Africa is not a dumping ground for Western problems. The continent has its own struggles, and it is not responsible for solving a crisis manufactured by Israel and its Western backers.

This situation mirrors historical events where powerful nations have displaced indigenous people and then forced third parties to absorb them:

  • The forced displacement of Native Americans in the U.S. while European settlers took over their land.

  • The carving up of Africa by colonial powers, forcing ethnic groups into artificial borders and fueling decades of conflict.

  • The continued displacement of indigenous populations in Australia and Canada, while Western leaders pretend to advocate for human rights.

The West has always expected African and Arab nations to sacrifice their own stability to accommodate the consequences of Western policies. This time, they must refuse.

The Larger Geopolitical Game

Trump’s rhetoric is not just about Palestinians. It is part of a broader strategy to maintain Western dominance and control over global affairs.

  1. Destabilizing the Middle East

    • Forcibly relocating Palestinians would create long-term instability in Egypt, Jordan, and other nations. The West thrives on keeping the Middle East fragmented—more conflicts mean more opportunities for military intervention and resource extraction.

    • By destroying any chance of a sovereign Palestinian state, Trump ensures that the region remains divided, preventing Arab nations from uniting against Western interests.

  2. Keeping Africa Under Control

    • The push to involve African nations in this crisis is a way to keep Africa distracted and dependent on Western approval.

    • Western powers know that a strong, independent Africa is a threat to global power structures. If Africa is forced to deal with yet another refugee crisis, it slows down economic progress and Pan-African unity.

  3. Appeasing the Zionist Lobby

    • Trump’s unwavering support for Israel, even at the cost of international law, is not surprising. The pro-Israel lobby has immense influence over U.S. politics, and every American president—Republican or Democrat—has followed the same playbook.

    • The strategy is simple: ignore Palestinian suffering, justify Israeli expansion, and pressure other nations to deal with the consequences.

Why Africa and the Arab World Must Resist

Enough is enough. The world is no longer willing to blindly follow Western orders. Africa and the Arab world must reject Trump’s strong-arming and stand firm against forced displacement.

  • African nations must remember their own history: From the Berlin Conference to colonial rule, Western powers have used Africa as a pawn in their global schemes. Accepting displaced Palestinians would set a dangerous precedent, making Africa responsible for every crisis the West creates.

  • Arab nations must refuse to betray Palestine: Allowing the forced removal of Palestinians is a betrayal of Arab unity. The same forces pushing for this relocation today could easily turn against Arab nations tomorrow.

  • The Global South must stand together: Whether it is Palestine, Haiti, the Congo, or Sudan, Western powers create instability and then expect other nations to handle the fallout. A united front against this manipulation is the only way forward.

Conclusion: Exposing the Lie of Western “Human Rights”

Trump’s rhetoric exposes the fraudulence of Western human rights advocacy. The same people who claim to defend white South Africans are the same ones supporting Palestinian genocide. The same nations that lecture Africa about democracy are the same ones backing Israel’s illegal land grabs.

Africa and the Arab world must reject Trump’s coercion and refuse to participate in this forced displacement. The West has never been a protector of indigenous people—only an oppressor. It is time to stop playing their game.

The Palestinian struggle is not just about Gaza—it is about resisting a global system that prioritizes Western dominance over human dignity. If Africa and the Arab world give in now, they will be setting the stage for their own future displacement.

Trump’s hypocrisy must be exposed, and his attempts to bully sovereign nations into compliance must be resisted. The world is waking up. The West’s old tactics are no longer working.

Palestinians have a right to their land, just as Africans fought for theirs. No amount of U.S. pressure will change that.
